Under Fire in Beantown

Guiy Boucher has had an interesting first season as the Bruins bench boss and if he's listened to local media and fans, he knows he's public ememy number one. But to fans calling the local NEFHL radio show demanding his head on a platter, Bruins GM Chris Ransom has one thing to say "Not a chance, Guy isn't falling on the sword for this teams mistakes, they've (the players) gotten into this spot, they are going to have to get themselves out".

A little over 5 weeks ago, the Bruins were riding high on the Eastern Conference horse, a large lead in the standings with only the Ottawa Senators within striking distance for first in the Eastern Conference. But a prolonged slump has made it a multi team race and while the Bruins have assured themselves a playoff berth and home ice in the first round, they can still finish anywhere from first to fourth.

Martin St.Louis is expected back for the begining of the playoffs, he has been out since suffering what team officals are calling an 'upper body injury'.
