Rangers prepare for postseason

It was a surprise, but it came true: The New York rangers made the postseason. The first time under new GM Matt Kaminski. "After seeing how the team missed the postseason last season, i was a bit anxious. But started with the first game of the regular season our group of players has found great chemistry", explained Kaminski today.

"Now every additional game will be the cream on top", he added. All preseason forcasts had tghe Rangers missing the playoffs. "That was definitely an extra motivation."

Especially the expected strong play of Alex Ovechkin was a big reason for the Rangers success. But they also got some unexpected help. Nobody had Carey Price on the paper, but he finished the season with the 2nd best gaa of all NEFHL starters. "Thats amazing."

But he got some help of our underrated D-men group. They arent talented, but they can play defensively and can block shots. "Thats what helped us a lot."

What comes now? "No idea", smiled Kaminski. "Maybe we can win a game, maybe not. It doesnt really matter who we play. We will play the same style like before. Great goaltending, solid defensive game and counting on our topline", explained Kaminski.
