The Norris goes to...

Mike Green of the Detroit Red Wings!!! After he failed to sign with the Panthers last summer we decided to send an offer sheet. It cost the organisation 4 1st round picks but we felt it was worth it. It surely was. Green was the best defensemen this year. In 79 games played, He scored 12 times and had a remarkable 52 assists for 64 pts . He finished the year with a 166 hits and a plus minus of 16. Trailing behind him were Andrei Markov ( 52 pts -2) , Joni Pitkanen ( 52 pts +9 ) , Dan Boyle ( 52 pts +7), Brent Seabrook ( 52 pts +6 ) and Chris Pronger ( 51 pts +11 ). Mike Green had an off year this year in the NHL due to injuries but we fell that he will bounce back next year. He's always a threat offensively even if he's a defensemen. One of my favorite players to watch.
