Duncan Keith traded...

-Detroit,Michigan Rumors has been circulating around since last February that Duncan Keith was on the market for a top 6 player. We almost landed quiet a few names but we couldn't close a deal. Just a few days ago the general manager of the Washington Capitals came forward and asked about a deal involving Kovalchuk and Keith. After a few hours of talks we came down with a deal. Keith, Abdelkader,Jones and Was 3rd are heading towards Washington. Kovalchuk landed in Detroit. We are very happy to land a player well over a PPG in the NEFHL. Kovy has 430 pts in 404 games. He scored 234 goals. We love that he can win a game by himself. He should be a perfect fit for Kesler. Not too long after dealing Keith, GM Dinelle went after Kris Versteeg. With Kovalchuk, vanek and Ribeiro's DF being so low we felt we needed a guy who was responible defensively first who can chip in offensively. We feel that our top 6 is now more balanced. We have 2 snipers on each line (Vanek , Kovy), The best two-way center in the game and Duby/Versteeg who are very responsible defensively. Good luck handling that...
