The new face of the franchise

A lot of changes have been happening around the MSG this summer. After trading Alexander Ovechkin the Rangers have added a lot of new players for the 2011/12 season.
"Losing AO is a big change, but with Evander Kane we have a new face of our franchise", explained GM Matt kaminski.

Its even possible that the 19 year old forward will become the next Captain of the Rangers. "Thats a coach decision", is all what Kane said.

"We are certainly not one of the best teams in the conference, but we are able to win hockey games", smiled Kaminski. The first preview see the Rangers at the bottom of the league, but that was the same the year before, when they reached the playoffs. "We have great goaltending and a lot of solid defensive players. The key will be how to score, especially without AO. But we will see, i think positive and believe in this group", added Kaminski.
