"You talkin' to me?"

Bruins GM Chris Ransom has a giant chip on his shoulder...at a Friday am presser to kick off the NEFHL 2011 preseason he responded to questions about the teams post season aspirations with as much angst as Travis Bickle, a character played by Robert De Niro in the 1976 movie Taxi Driver.

"You talkin' to me?" was a standard response to questions about scoring, passing, defense and goaltending...most pundits have the Bruins finishing dead last in the NorthEast division, a division owned by the Bruins since Chris Ransom joined the NEFHL several years ago. While the Bruins look to have taken a step back in every aspect on paper, the teams self described 'genius' GM thinks he's found the secert recipe for success.

Once reporters determined they would not get any response other than "You talkin' to me?", they shuffled out of the presser to watch the Bruins take to the ice for practice. Maybe once the season starts there will be more to say i guess, until then it sounds like the Bruins prefer to do their talking on the ice.
