Zeus is a Ranger

Another surprising move by the NEW York Rangers: Yesterday they acquired Michal Handzus from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a 4th round pick in 2012. The Rangers also received an 8th round pick in 2013.

"He had a great season so far in Colorado by scoring 32 points. We wanted him to improve our 3rd line and for next year too", explained GM Kaminski the acquisition of Handzus, who comes with a 3 year contract for 1,7 Mill per year.

If you look at the standings, the Rangers are still deep in the playoff run. "We want to get in, no question. Like last year its much fun to destroy all previews and forecasts", smiled Kaminski.
