Rangers picked late

With a lot of business before the draft, the New York Rangers, still managed to welcome 15 new names to the organisation. But: The Rangers first pick was Robbie Baillargeon at 94. He was followed by a lot of yet unknown guys. "Going after skill not after size was one of our main focusses", explained GM Matt Kaminski.
So it was no surprise that some undersized but skilled guys made it to the Rangers prospect pool.
The Rangers were also able to re-draft Rensfeldt and Donskoi. "We like the new implanted rule which allowed to keep these 2 players."

After moving out some 1st and 2nd round picks, the Rangers already hold a strong package of picks for the next two entry-drafts:
2013: NYR 1, WSH 1, WSH 2, NYR 2, PIT 2, PIT 3, NYR 4, DET 4, NYR 5, BUF 5, ANA 6, NYR 6, DAL 6, NYR 7, BOS 7, DAL 7, COL 8, BOS 8,
