The Bruins looked to be all but eliminated from the playoffs race. But a three game win streak has given them a chance to push back into the playoff conversation. A home win vs. the BJ's would set up a chance for the Bruins to meet the Penguins in Pittsburgh with a chance to regain a playoff seed. While the odds are heavily slanted against all the stars aligning, the fanbase will take any odds they can get after what has been described by team management as a failure of a season.

VKunt has been the star for the Bruins the last 3 games posting a .924 save percentage. Patrick Hornqvist has also been hot of late with 4 points in his last 3 games. Injuries to Carlson and Hecht haven't hurt the Bruins so far with waiver claims Teemu Laakso and John McCarthy providing contributions to the resurgent Bruins.

A loss to the BJ's tonight wouldn't wholey eliminate the Bruins from sneaking in but it's as close to a must win as there ever was.

Go Bruins.
