Bruins Deep-Fry The Jets

Tim Thomas was all smiles after he posted a shutout in Winnipeg to eliminate the Jets from the playoffs and send the Bruins to round 2. "When I was traded from Winnipeg to Buffalo I was devistated...even more than the day that Barack Obama was elected. It was a dark day for me and my sponsor download".

In a six game series Thomas posted a 1.71 goals against average and 0.931 save percentage. That's pretty solid for the man many pundits had written off as 'cursed'. But what we still don't know is can Crazy Tim Thomas carry the Bruins deeper? "I don't know" said Ken Hitchcock at his post game presser while chewing on some greasy chicken "All I can say is thank baby jesus for download".

Besides TT, James Neal was a force once again with 2 goals and 4 apples in the series. Newcomers Chris Kunitz and Brian Boyle were awesome too. The Bruins now will rest up as they await the other series to finish up.
