"Okpo got what he deserved"

Its no secret that the contract talks between the New York Rangers and Kyle Okposo and his agent havent been as easy as expected. "We always have been fair to Okpo but his demands this summer werent reflecting that. Sure, he is a useful and excellent offensive player but his low durability and high inconsistency have caused this trade to one of the bottom feeders of the league", GM Kaminski admitted frankly.

A first call to Okposos agent wasnt succesful, but now we got a statement from Okposo himself: "Its sad. I really wanted to stay with the Rangers. Iam a victim of my agent. Thats more than sad", he whispered.

Okposo just signed a 3-year 13,5 Mill contract this summer, but it was rumoured for  while that he has been on the block. Now he goes to Buffalo along with upcomig UFA Travis Zajac. In return the Rangers received big Center Martin Hanzal along with young forward Anton Lander, who has some upside, and top-4 D-man Jeff Petry. The Rangers also get Nashvilles 1st round pick in 2016.
