Bruins Make a Trio of Deals

After a shitty run, the team is looking to the future and pulled the trigger on mutliple deals over the last couple weeks.

Trade #1:
To Boston: Jack Kopacka
To Ottawa: David Schlemko

Analysis: Schlemko was the first to go which i think was important to signal to the rest of the NEFHL I was open for buisness. Schlemko had solid ratings and a small cap hit but really other than Ottawa, no one enquired.

Trade #2:
To Bos: Col 5 2018
To Col: Brian Strait

Analysis: Not much to say, decent ratings again, picked him up from Flyers and got more in return, win/win.

Trade #3:
To Boston: Kyle Okposo, Dennis Seidenberg, Josh Anderson, Colorado 2018 3rd , Buffalo 2019 2nd
To Buffalo: Max Pacioretty

Analysis: This was a return of quantity, I plan on moving Okpo as soon as possible and Seidenberg at deadline. Josh is playing well under Torts and will be a nice top 9 guy who makes space and can notch a goal or two. The picks are nice too since i moved alot of picks over the last few years.

Team now sits like this:
 Zach Parise (5.1m) - Brayden Schenn (4.2m) - Kyle Okposo (4.5m)
Milan Lucic (2.6m) - David Desharnais (1.5m) - Ben Smith (0.8m)
Devante Smith-Pelly (1.6m) - Jay McClement (0.9m) - Brody Sutter (0.7m)
Kyle Clifford (0.8m) - Joe Vitale (0.7m) - Andreas Martinsen (0.8m)

Nicklas Grossmann (2.7m) - Jeff Petry (3.3m)
Dennis Seidenberg (2.2m) - Eric Gryba (0.9m)
Carl Gunnarsson (1m) - Patrick Wiercioch (1m)
Total = 11.1m

Corey Crawford (6m)
Curtis McElhinney (0.7m)
Total = 6.7m

Current Pro Roster = 42m
Farm Roster = 1.4m
Total = 43.4m

Lots of cap room and lots of talent still to move, i expect Okpo and Petry will be next to go, both nice additions to any team looking to go all the way.
