Going out east

Ever since their inaugural season in the NEFHL the Detroit Redwings has always been in the western conference...They always played in the central division wich most of the years was one of the toughest division to play in...Points were hard to get by...Some years 4 out of 5 teams would make the playoffs and some division titles has been won in the last game of the season...Phil was dominating the central division for years so we never won a division banner..I was always trying to build my team to have a style of hockey that could beat Phil's teams over the years...Always has a good rivalry with the Preds also, who taught and helped me a lot about prospects...Then we had the bluejackets also who we had a nice rivalry going on...Lots of good games of hockey played in the central and lots of memories for the organisation and GM Dinelle....But now time has changed....The Redwings are moving out east for next season...We can't be more pleased about it because we were one of  the teams that were travelling the most...Now we will travel less playing against city and teams that are closer to Detroit....New rivalries will now develop since Kevin thinks he owns it...We will give him a run for his money...But before thinking about next season we have to accomplish some big tasks like signing Monahan and Simmonds to long term deals...Monahan deserve a good contract  and is the face of the franchise..
