The Blue Jackets had a sour taste in their mouths after their 3-2 loss in game 1. The team knew they could've played better, alas it is what it is and they had to come back strong in game 2. Boy did they ever come back strong. With a final score of 6-1 the Jackets as a whole played great, but there was one player in particular who seemed to be unstoppable in every facet of their game.

"Oshie was great" said GM MacPherson. "He plays some big minutes for us, not only on 5v5 or on the powerplay, but on the pk unit as well. He led the charge no matter what the situation was on the ice tonight". Oshie finished the game with a hat-trick which brings his goal total up to 4 in the playoffs now. With the Devils seemingly having Kucherov figured out so far as he's only had 3 shots on net so far, someone had to step up and tonight that guy was Oshie.

To keep the good times rollong it was announced after the game that forward Andrew Shaw would be in the lineup for game 3. Shaw was in the middle of having a career year before he broke his neck so having him back should be a big boost for the team as he's not only offensively talented, but he brings a lot of grit and grind to the team. It is unknown where Shaw will be slated in the lineup at this point but he should make an impact no matter where he's put.
