One of the busiest offseasons and the new look Jets are ready to see if they are improved or if this is a step back. The Jets overhauled the roster, reshaping their forward core.

Trade one was with the Penguinos:

Winnipeg Jets trade Brandon Hagel, Jamie Benn and Seth Jarvis to Pittsburgh Penguins for Bo Horvat and Tyler Motte

Next deal was with the cup winning Flyers:

Winnipeg Jets trade Andrew Mangiapane, Noel Gunler and WPG 2021 Rnd 2 to Philadelphia Flyers for Tom Wilson

Deal three was with the juggernault Canucks:

Vancouver Canucks trade Barclay Goodrow, Dylan Cozens and VAN 2022 Rnd 2 to Winnipeg Jets for Sean Couturier

Then the big one, Eichel to the BJs:

Columbus Blue Jackets trade Elias Lindholm and Nikita Kucherov to Winnipeg Jets for Jack Eichel

After that, some minor deals that helped us shore out the top 12:

New York Rangers trade Curtis Lazar to Winnipeg Jets for WPG 2023 Rnd 4
Winnipeg Jets trade PHI 2021 Rnd 2 and TAM 2021 Rnd 3 to Toronto Maple Leafs for Matt Grzelcyk
Winnipeg Jets trade Joel Armia and Jordan Oesterle to San Jose Sharks for Ilya Mikheyev and Robert Bortuzzo
Winnipeg Jets trade Rickard Rakell to Detroit Red Wings for PHI 2021 Rnd 2 and TAM 2021 Rnd 3

After all the moves the Jets line up like this:

2021-22 Lines
Max Comtois - Elias Lindholm - Nikita Kucherov
Ilya Mikheyev - Bo Horvat - Tom Wilson
Tyler Motte - Barclay Goodrow - Curtis Lazar
Michael Chaput - Mitchell Stephens - Josh Leivo

Roman Josi - Jamie Oleksiak
Matt Grzelcyk - Eric Cernak
Robert Bortuzzo - Connor Clifton

John Gibson - Louis Domingue

Prediction for this season vary, unsure how the lack of firepower on the LW will go and what effect dynamic ratings will bring this season. The good news is we have some cap space to add either though waivers or trades.
