It didn't take long under new management for the team to begin to mold its future. Where the team refuses to go into an all out rebuilding mode, there are certainly some things that will be addressed shortly.

In the first week fans have seen the team part with Richard Park and Owen Nolan, essentially dumping 6.4 million dollars in salary. The team has picked up a few role players that will hopefully help the team this year, as well as future years.

Daigle and Brylin both look to hit over 40 points in the NHL this year while Ryan Clowe has the potential to make a difference as a 3rd/4th liner in San Jose.

The Jackets also signed defensemen Francois Beauchemin, Freddy Meyer, and forward Tyler Redenbach. They expect Beauchemin and Meyer to be NEFHL regulars next year.

Expect to see a number of players added to the trade block as the team is further evaluated over the next few weeks. Kvasha, Kraft, and Varada are the latest to be offered up. Stay tuned for more thrilling news out of Jacket Nation ...
