Another BIG win for GM MLeblond.

After 30 regular season games we currently sit with 39 points in the bank but injuries are starting to add up. We got  2nd line center man Jochen Hecht out with a lacerated hand and defense man Paul Mara still recovering from his  foot injury. We called up Andrew Alberts and Tim Brent to fill in their place but looking at the schedule it will be hard to buy a win vs Sharks, Kings and Blues. We were hoping to test our team agaisnt the Sharks #1 rated team at the moment but with a week 2nd line center I am hoping that Giggy keeps us in the game. I don't think too many teams were expecting us to be doing so well out the gate. Hopefully we can continue on that roll and take it in the playoffs earlier this year.
We were quoted as a team with no depth in the off season. I did a few moves to help with the money we have without busting the salary cap. Jochen Hect and Jarkko Ruutu came to our organisation to fill in the blanks and the team has well responded. We have to remember that this team is in it's second season of rebuild since we lost our 2 first lines to UFA's, yet we are competitive year after year.
