Decided to rank my prospects, comments/criticism are more than welcome. Player comparisons may not be fully accurate but...it's who I thought of.

The rankings are in order of how I value them / like them / potential / likeliness to hit potential. SOOO yeah...the rankings will be somewhat random to some GM's.

* - indicates that prospect was traded for...

1. Jack Skille – 19 yrs old: 6’1, 210 lb RW.

Skille is the organizations top prospect as he combines everything a team wants in a young player. He has great work ethic, great speed and good skating for the new game and is very established on both ends of the ice. He has a heavy shot that he loves to use and is more of a sniper than playmaker. He probably doesn’t have the most potential of guys around the league but he is a safe prospect who will surely make an impact in the NEFHL, either as a 2nd line power forward or great 3rd line shutdown player.

Highest Potential: 1st line power-forward like Bill Guerin, 30 goal 30 assist guy.
Probable Potential: 2nd line forward like Ryder with better defense, 25 goal, 20 assist guy.

2. Bobby Sanguinetti – 18 yrs old: 6’1, 175 lb D.

Sanguinetti is almost the complete opposite of Jack Skille. He has the potential to be a top pairing defenseman, but at this point he has a long way to go and is a very risky prospect. At this point in his development Sanguinetti is still all offense but to be a more complete player needs to fill out and play more physical. There is always a place for offensive defensemen in the NEFHL, however the Devils would rather have solid D-men on both ends of the ice. However if Sanguinetti never learns to play better in his own end the team will try to keep him paired with a defensive minded guy.

Highest Potential: Top pairing D-man like Sergei Zubov, 10 goal 40-45 assist guy.
Probable Potential: 2nd pairing D-man like Filip Kuba (worse defensively), 5-7 goal 25-30 assist guy.

3. Petr Kalus, 19 yrs old: 6’1, 183 lb C.

Kalus is one of the organizations favorite prospects and was very sought after as soon as GM Tousignant became a general manager. After months of talks with the Blues, Kalus finally found his way to the Devils organization. On the Devils farm team Kalus is enjoying a great season amassing 10 goals and 18 points in 24 games so far this season. Kalus is a very fierce competitor and like Skille has a high work ethic and is a coaches dream. He still suffers defensive lapses but his offense is where his game lies. He is a good skater and good with the puck and as GM Tousignant and his scouts would say, he just seems to have “it”. He has that quality where he seems to know what is going on around him at all times when he has the puck, and his vision on the ice is really great for such a young player. Still somewhat raw and will require another couple of seasons in the farm team, but Kalus definitely has a high chance at ending up on the top six for the Devils in a few years.

Highest Potential: 1st line forward like Bergeron, 25 goal - 40 assist guy.
Probable Potential: 2nd line forward like Bergeron, 15 goal, 30 assist guy.

4. Slava Trukhno, 19 yrs old: 6’1, 196 lb LW.

Trukhno was recently acquired from the Predators and is instantly one of the teams top 5 prospects. Unlike most Russian players, Trukhno can play with a physical edge and does play with some grit. His offensive game is even better, as he is a great playmaker and has a good shot as well. He will most likely be a couple years away from making an impact on the pro roster, as he will be signed to a contract at the end of the season after he spends the season in juniors.

Highest Potential: 1st line LW like a physical Daniel Sedin, 20 goal - 55 assist guy.
More Probable Potential: 3rd line LW like Jan Bulis, 10-15 goal – 10-15 assist guy.

5. Cory Emmerton, 18 yrs old: 5’11, 177 lb C.

Emmerton is a high risk prospect but has definite scoring line upside. Not much of a defensive player, Emmerton has excellent offensive skills and like Trukhno is a great playmaker. He is a pretty small player but with some extra muscle he should be a harder player to knock off the puck. As a center he’ll need to get better in his own end. Passing is definitely Emmerton’s key to NEFHL success as he will hopefully turn out to be one of the leagues better playmaking centers.

Highest Potential: 2nd line C like Marc Savard with less goals, 15 goal – 40 assist guy.
Probable Potential: 4th line C like Eric Belanger, 4-5 goal – 10 assist guy.

6. Nigel Williams, 18 yrs old: 6’4, 226 lb D.

Williams is the most difficult player in the organization to predict at this time. He has an amazing skill set with great size, a heavy shot and is a surprisingly good skater for his size. Unfortunately for Williams, one of the things he lacks seems to be hockey sense as he makes many mistakes on the ice especially in his own end. If he hopes to make any kind of success in the NEFHL he’ll definitely need to work on his vision on the ice. If he does, he will be one very special defenseman.

Highest Potential: Top pairing d-man like McCabe, 13 goal – 50 assist guy.
Probable Potential: #4-6 d-man like Andrew Alberts OR bust, 3 goal – 10 assist guy.

7. Stefan Ruzicka, 21 yrs old: 6’, 205 lb RW.

Ruzicka is another fairly risky prospect in the teams prospect list but has scoring line upside. Ruzicka, unlike guys like Kalus and Skille, seems to lack work ethic and can sometimes be seen floating when out on the ice. However, when Ruzicka ends up in the offensive zone he truly becomes a different player. At such a young age he can out puck handle most of his peers and has a bullet of a wrist shot. He has good size and is hard to knock off the puck and has great creativity when on the ice. If he can get serious about training and improving then he could definitely be a future top six winger for the Devils.

Highest Potential: 2nd line forward like a poor-mans Afinogenov, 20 goal – 40 assist guy.
Probable Potential: 4th line forward like Czerkawski, 5-7 goal – 8 assist guy.

8. Alexander Edler, 20 yrs old: 6’3, 195 lb D.

Edler is a very interesting prospect as he has amazing size and had a great junior year last season. He looks like he could be a definite top 4 NEFHL defenseman with a good all around game. He has good offensive instincts but may need to add another 10 or 20 lbs to be better suited for bigger NHL forwards. If he continues to work somewhat on his defensive game he should end up better than most think with quality power play time as well.

Highest Potential: #3 defenseman like Henrik Tallinder, 5 goal – 25 assist guy.
Probable Potential: #5 defenseman like a poor man’s Tallinder, 3 goal – 15 assist guy.

9. Martins Karsums, 5’10, 190 lb RW

Karums game is one that the Devils really love, as even if he doesn’t hit the offensive potential he has, he should end up a quality 3rd line physical player. While not very big, Karsums can be a hit machine and can play very physical. He is a lot like Ruzicka in they both are somewhat undersized, but are very stocky and hard to knock of the puck. Both have good hands and are creative and while not the best of skaters they won’t hurt the team. However, Karsums has that physical edge and also can play very well on the forecheck and backcheck.

Highest Potential: 2nd line RW like Colby Armstrong, 20 goal – 25 assist guy.
Probable Potential: 3rd line RW like Matt Pettinger, 15 goal – 20 assist guy.

10. Nikolai Lemtyugov, 6’, 175 lb RW.

Nikolai Lemtyugov has the potential to reach the top six for the Devils in 3+ year’s time, but more likely he won’t reach it. He was sought after hard in a trade with the Stars, as he has good offensive instincts and strong versatility. Lemtyugov has a good work ethic and this is what gives the Devils hopes that he will eventually get some seasoning on their farm team. Lemtyugov is a great team player and works hard to backcheck and get back in his own zone though he still needs work in that aspect. He has a strong shot but needs to get more on net but overall he is a good, but risky prospect.

Highest Potential: 2nd line RW like a poor man’s David Vyborny, 20 goal – 35 assist guy.
Probable Potential: 3rd/4th line like Branko Radivojevic, 5 goal – 10 assist guy.
