Preds Loving the D, Missing the O!!

After the first 7 games of the season, some trends have shown up in the Predators game. With a record of 2-2-1-2 to start the year, Preds management is content but not overly happy. When asked about the record, GM Mathieu Morin stated that "There are some games that we should have won, but didn't. The guys are giving it their all and we're getting some bad bounces. Once we get our offence solved, we feel we can take the league by storm!"

In nets, JS Giguere has been good but unspectacular. The Preds are going to be looking for him to really step it up soon.

On defense is where Preds management is truly proud of the team. Currently sitting top 10 in GA/G and 4th in SA/G, the blueline has really come together. A minor injury to Dan Boyle has taken him out, but he should be back soon.

The Preds offence needs some work and management hopes to have achieved that by recently bringing in superstar C Mats Sundin. Slow starts by Shane Doan and Brendan Shanahan has Nashville coach Dave Lewis tinkering around with his lines in hopes of finding a good scoring mix.

Where he is happy is the Preds power play, currently ranked 3rd in the league thanks to Mattias Ohlund's booming shot which has resulted in 2 PP Goals so early in the season.
