Predators ready to move at the deadline

With the deadline looming, the Predators are looking at their options, whether it's to improve or to send away players. There is word around the league that Mattias Ohlund could change address. Trailing the last playoff spot in the standings by 7 points, the Nashville Predators have no margin of error left for the last 17 games. To make the playoffs, they will have to win over 10 of their last 17 games, including wins against currently 8th ranked Detroit Red Wings.

The Nashville Predators have already moved a couple of days ago when they claimed Ruslan Salei from the waivers. Now they are ready to move again. With the steep climb to the playoffs, they will most likely be sellers, with top defense player Mattias Ohlund rumored to be available.

Other smaller names that may find another home are Sandis Ozolinsh and Josef Melichar, as both could play a small role on a top contending team.
