BLOCKBUSTER TRADE IN NY!

The NY Rangers has decided to turn this team around into a rebuild mode by trading Mats Sundin, Martin Straka, Ed Jovanoski, and philippe Boucher + 2nd round pick (st-louis) to Tampa Bay for Alexander Ovechkin, Marc-Edouard Vlasic, and MIkael Samuelsson. Our intention was to lower the age of the team and by getting Alexander ovechkin, we are assuring a great future for the years to come. Its true we are losing our defence corp leadership with the departure of Jovo and boucher however we will be couting on Luc bourdon + marc -edouard vlasic for a energetic duo and 3-4 years down the road they could as well be the same duo than the last 2 mentioned. We are also saving money and our team salary cap is no longer in critical situation. We also confirm the hiring of Owen nOlan where we expect recovering leadership lost in previous trade and a power forward that could have a good year in our league (or in the nhl hehe). Here are the lines of 2006-2007 of the NY Rangers.
