The Canucks have turned the page and the focus is on the rest of the year and heading into the playoffs. The Canucks have 19 games left and are currently tied for 3rd overall in the league and sitting 2nd in the Western Conference as the current leader of the Pacific Division with 80 points just ahead of the Kings and Flames respectively. The Western Conference leader has been the Arizona Coyotes with the 91 points (also leading the league) and the Blackhawks in 3rd with 86 points.

“It’s going to be tough to catch to Arizona but we are shooting for the President’s Trophy and Pacific Division title. Obviously the higher you are, the better your home ice advantage is throughout the playoffs. But, we still need to win because we are only 11 points up on the number nine team with a lot of hockey left” said General Manager Allen.

Going into the playoffs the Canucks roster is looking like:

Andrei Svechnikov, Aleksander Barkov, Matthew Tkachuk
Gabriel Landeskog, Jared McCann, Joe Pavelski
Eric Robinson, Robert Thomas, Kyle Okposo
Yegor Sharangovich, Sean Kuraly, Luke Glendening
Zac Dalpe

Roman Josi, Radko Gudas
Morgan Reilly, Niklas Jensen
Miro Heiskanen, Ryan Lindgren
Niko Mikkola

Connor Hellebuyck
Robin Lehner
Charlie Lindgren

When asked, General Manager Kyle Allen didn’t want to comment on the 2023/2024 Vancouver Canucks roster. “We want to focus on this year and try to win a Stanley Cup”.

However, we are going to project the next years roster knowing full well that the cap will be hitting the Canucks hard with Tkachuk, Svechnikov, Heiskanen, Hellebuyck, McCann all needing new contracts.
