Anaheim will be without one of their younger prospects in Ivan Morozov. He was recently loaned to Spartak Moskva after having a respectable year in the AEFHL posting 50 points in 82 games.

"Ivan felt it would be better for his development if he was able to go back to Russia for the year and with such a log jam of prospects we agreed and think it is best for him long term." Said GM Ryan Clarey.

Morozov is off to a great start with 2 goals and 5 assists in his first five games in the KHL showing off that impressive vision he is gifted with. His second goal was an impressive snap shot that wowed the crowd.

"I fully expect him to come back next season and fight for a roster spot and hopefully make it up to the National league." Said Clarey.

Anaheim has two other young Russians who are hoping to make an impact sooner rather than later. Vasili Ponomaryov and Daniil Gushchin both had excellent ends to the year including Daniil playing in his first two NHL games and grabbing 1 goal and 1 assist.

Anaheims roster has been set and they are ready for the start of pre-season.

"As of now we have no other moves planned but we are always watching and seeing who's available. Anything is possible but as of right now we feel we have a very strong top 9 and a great checking line to round out the 12 forwards. We expect Norris and Tage to take another step forward." said Clarey.

Anaheim will be announcing their captain and assistants in the coming days.
