In a rematch of the 2011 first round, the Canadiens and Rangers will meet in the 2013 first round.  The one difference this year is the Rangers will have home ice advantage, and that is probably a good thing for the Canadiens. The Canadiens have the worst home record of any playoff team in 2013, so management doesn't seem to mind being on the road to start off the playoffs.

The one thing that is worrisome though is the amount of loses the team had in OT this year.  With 5 loses, that was the most in the NEFHL, and something that will need to change if the team will be able to advance. The Rangers have dominated the Canadiens this year going 3-1 this year, although Mike Smith went 1-1 against them.

The team is as healthy as they could be going into the playoffs, and most of the stars rested in the season finale, so they should be ready to go when the puck drops for game 1.  There will be no predictions for this one, except we expect it to be a nice long series.
